When it comes to the passing of MJ, I am quite indifferent.
However, I find the potential investigative and legal issues interesting and sooner or later we will likely know the real story.
Until then what do you think was the main contributor to his death?

From what I read, it seems as though he had longstanding health issues. He was also on multiple medications. I guess he finally reached the point where his body couldn't take it any more. Cardiac arrest.

It's interesting, how all the ignorant bigots come out of the closet when the Michael Jackson subject comes up. I thought some of you guys had more class and intelligence than that. I guess I was wrong.

its on every station, on every internet portal

to me, it sort of ridiculous to see all these people taking to the streets mourning a subject person when compared to all these young Iranians in the street for something that matters

and if i am bigitted against a paedophile, i will take that accusation everytime

I think it's possible he took an OD, i heard a story today that over the last few years he had been rushed to hospital a few times to have his stomach pumped.
I think with all the shit thats happenend over the years and all the pressure of this tour, which i doubt if he really wanted to do, it just all got too much for him.

As I said Paul I am quite indifferent about MJ himself, however, I think the legal side of this is interesting.

For example, large (life) insurance policies have been taken out on MJ in conjunction with his upcoming tour, which if incomplete would have cost the promoters large sums of money.
Now they may be able to cash in.

I will take you behaviour and response under advisement and perhaps make the same comment in many of your threads

For the most part, you come across as a decent guy. And I don't mean to offend you. But if you don't like Michael Jackson, why not just refrain from posting? His personal life was probably a mess. Was he a pedophile? Who knows? But he was a musical genius. If people are interested in him and his life, so what? All across planet earth, people have heard of him and his music. During his lifetime, he earned almost a billion dollars. That's pretty good for a musician.

I've never spent a dime on a Michael Jackson record. But I do like a few of his songs. Throughout history, some of the most famous artists have led tortured lives. Maybe that comes with the territory. Let it be.

i guess the reason i do it is because i am so adamantly against all he did that i don't want any praise for this guyt whatsoever. i think the fawning that has come out with his death has been disgusting( and i am not talking about this board). i dont care if he was found not guilty by a fawning CA jury
the way i look at it, he did some shady shit, even if it was just sleeping with younger kids. once you go that road, you should not be celebrated

believe me, i love the Jackson 5

and as for this thread, i will leave it alone, but there was a thread on Michael Jackson already, there was no reason to start a goofy poll on his death

Well a 50yr old man who has had major plastic surgery to the nose and has been popping pain killers for decades is probably too physically spent to star in a MJ Tour. They say he would lose 5 lbs of weight after every show. Who knows what kind of workout regiment he has been following in these last years. It could have been a major shock to the system. Add on a bad combo of pills and bye bye.

I`m sure the promoters of his upcoming tour would have cashed in if the tour had gone ahead also.
Can`t see the point there.

I`ll always remember him for his singing and dancing.

I don't think it was a drug overdose, by the normal meaning of that term.

Just taking too many different drugs. The reactions they have when they are taken together can be deadly.

My father had a large dresser, and the whole top of it was covered with different prescriptions. He only took them for one reason. Because doctors told him to take them for his various minor ailments. On numerous occasions, the drugs almost killed him, because his heart would start beginning uncontrollably, at several hundred beats per minute, and he would have to be rushed to the hospital. Then they would change his prescriptions, until the next time.

His blood pressure was normal, he had never had heart trouble, and all testing on his heart showed it to be normal.

I asked him, why did he take the drugs, as they nearly killed him many times. But he was of the mindset, that it is the doctor's business, they are the experts, and you do what they tell you to do.

Have to agree with you all the way on this one Paul. This whole scene is going way overboard. My bankrupt city and state were good enough to help pay for part if not all of that funeral yesterday. Can anyone else say IOUs in the state of CA?

The poll that Mr DK started should have been how many of those mourning people actually bought his last album. The guy has been dead for years FFS. Only time he was in the tabloids was for hanging his kids over a balcony, financial woes or the liddie thing. I heard hes being flown to the UK now?? Come on!!
