Tailors by a long way....they are clever little Fcukers though......when l am 5 meters away they are already extending their hands saying "G'day mate"....then when you walk past and ignore them you can hear them say "ooright guvna".....so no doubt an English guy is walking behind me....they can tell where you are from just by seeing what we wear.....on most occassions.

1. Having my cheeks pulled by bg's and non bg's! (You know who you are!)
2. Groups walking slowly down roads, which force you to walk in to the road. (Not such a problem with Bangla now its closed during the night. 3. The f*&king Tut tut drivers who have to continually ask even though you have said "NO THanks" to the first 22 in front of them! 4. Tailor pimps who try to grab your hand. I don't mind saying no and smiling, but if they try to grab my hand for a 'handshake' that really annoys me! 5. The 3 day shits rotation. The fact that every 3 days im there, the beer and thai food mucks my stomach up and causes me to poop through the eye of a needle. But im not bitter!

Without a doubt as i have posted elsewhere on site those irritating cu-ts who insist on walking into a bar where i am quite happily sitting with my mates with no lady within 20 feet of us and asking the stupid question do you want to buy some of my stupid pointless flowers NO I FU-KING DONT ! also bars like the celtic bar in hua hin (but there are others) which set themselves up as being a scottish bar or an irish bar and basically have no connection with these countries whatsoever apart from a few photos on the wall usually owned by australians

1 The tuk tuks who can see you are not interested but still shout tuk tuk.
2 The tailors who think its clever to mimic the Cockney accent(very badly) and want to get you to buy something you dont want. Geez if I want a suit I'll go in their shop and ask. 3 No one has mentioned them,maybe they have gone now, the timeshare sharks. Riding around on bikes they give you a scratchcard,and lo and behold you are the winner.Before you know it its the full on presentation. Fcuk them, never again will my holiday be interrupted by them.I know the response they will get from me next time.

Saturday, August 13, 2005 Karon to crack down on tailors KARON (Kom Chad Luek): Community leaders in Kata-Karon have issued a warning to the 144 tailor shops in the area that they will crack down on any that continue to use aggressive touting techniques or take advantage of tourists. Tambon Karon Chairman Winai Chidchiaw said that, at a meeting among village headmen and other community leaders, it was unanimously agreed to monitor the behavior of the shops’ staff, who have been warned to end practices that pose a threat to the area’s reputation among tourists. Many of the shops hire foreign nationals, mostly from India and Myanmar, he said. Shops which continue to be sources of complaint will be penalized to the full extent of the law and subject to police investigations that would see any illegal aliens deported immediately, he warned. K. Winai called for cooperation from the Immigration Police in this regard, as deportation procedures fall under their area of responsibility. “We’re still looking for a solution to the labor problems in the tailor shops, especially as many of them serve merely as fronts which take customer orders, with the actual tailoring done by a third party,” he said. “We have set up neighborhood committees to investigate and find out which shops fall into this category. Once we have an idea of the scale of the problem, we will meet again to decide what should be done,” he said. In addition to the problem of illegal aliens working in the industry, complaints have also been received from Thai workers in the shops that they were being paid less than the minimum wage, he said. phuket gazette
