Been trying to avoid posting this
For fear of the "we told you so" factor, but whilst in Bangkok I did it and fell absolutely head over heels for a gorgeous thai girl. Now, she works in a go-go bar in Patpong yet says she has only worked there for 3 months or so and never sleeps with 'customer', only available for dancing or a meal etc. Is there any chance that this is true (highly doubt it) I'm sure many of you know what I mean when I say "I wish she wasn't on the other bloody side of the world!"
She is obviously giving it all the only man for me, when you come back, i love you etc. But I'm just curious as to whether there is actually a possibility a go-go girl won't go for sex, ... I didn't stick it to her, because I barfined her then passed out in the taxi. She said she was only willing to go with me because I "was special". She has emailed me most days, called me a fair few times even though she can't speak English too well but apparently wants to hear my voice. Called her last night at what I forgot was about 5.am Thai time, she was asleep I wanted to know if she could chat on yahoo, she said "for you..." lo and behold, 5 mins. later she'd made it into Patpong and was online!Now are all Thai girls this good at pretending they're mad about you.. or is she? no way for anyone else to tell you what you want to know - each case is different. I think you already have a feeling deep-down but we all want to think that this one is special  Perhaps you could spend some time looking over the threads on just this subject, there are many of them (use search function at top of the page) It puts things into perspective somewhat to hear so many similar stories and experiences and can help defuse the post-LOS blues. either way good luck Odysseus

Normally I weigh in with a bit of support for guys who are not sure. I tend to suggest that they take their time, go with the flow and listen to that little voice deep down inside that's tells you if you're kidding yourself or not. Some call it instinct
 There's lot of horror stories out there and also plenty of good advice to heed, but in every single case there's one bit of info that is unique - you !! Only you really know what you feel and what the score is. Odysseus rightly says that each case is different and I always suggest that people think "why not..." rather than "what if..." However.... I have read through what you have written several times now and I just get a bad feeling about this, mainly due to the fact that she was online in under 5 minutes of you calling her. Of course it is possible, but a girl working in a bar with her own laptop or desktop....unlikely. An internet place being open at 5am, even in Bangkok....again unlikely. The only plausible explanation is that she shares a room with a friend who has a PC and also an internet connection. Don't forget, it usually takes 5 minutes to switch the thing on, get connected and then off you go. I'll still err on the side of hoping this is not something nasty and that you are being strung along, but if you are sure about the timing, i.e. 5 minutes, then bear in mind what I've just said and add to that her getting dressed and walking/running down the road if she really did go outside to an internet place. Perhaps if you're really not sure, a few subtle questions about how she managed to get connected so quick and where the PC is might prove conclusive. Good luck

There is no doubt about her actually being in an internet cafe as she put the webcam on straight away so i could 'see her smile'. However, I'm not completely sure whether it was 5 minutes, a little longer etc. etc, had a few beers so not sure if I'm in the perfect position to comment on exactly how long it took her to get there.
But I could see from the layout of the place that it was a net cafe. I'm not naive enough to have sent her money or anything like that . So I wouldn't be losing anything material.... but I guess they're probably more favourable than your love in these situations. Anyway, thanks for the advice, is much appreciated

and you met this girl in a go go, spent 1 night with her, passed out on her so you don't even know what she is like in bed, and now you love her.
I think you need to go back to LOS and start over again. How can anyone say you are the one for her after one night? Maybe in Hollywood. Stay in touch with her if you want to and go back to see her to see if anything will work out but do not do anything crazy(send money) before that.

As CS says she's on the job, if not a cam girl, work out the time UK, mmm ok thats 10pm at the mom time difference, possible member of dating agency chat room rent a bride type stuff, online already talkin to her current sponsors There r internet shops BKK 24hrs for sure, ok not patpong dont rally go there!!! but on nana 4 accross from Dynasty open 24/7 She might be the best girl in the world but you have to take everything into consideration when making ur judgement, also consider that its well known that alot of Go Go girls prefer to do ST and have Thai BF's Its just my take on things, it might be unfair thinking this but what ive seen with my own eyes and living in a BG environment and knowing every trick they employ...........it aint good from a tourist point of view in terms of falling in love. I still maintain the best chance of success of having a successful outcome with these girls is to live there or they live with u or a combination of both.......unless this is the case u really wont have a clue whats going on But i suppose there is always that 5-10% lookin for the knight in shining armour and are willing to give it a go (ps I used think about 30% but have reviewed that %) Hopefully im not upsetting anyone by airing such negative views G

Why does everyone knock falling in love? I love falling in love!!! I do it all the time. Matter of fact I just fell in love with thos girl on a kotex commercial. Unfortunately it seems she having her period right now.

I forgot to say, that the one night I spent with her wasn't the only night. I spent around 4 days and nights with her, met the family etc. etc. But for some reason I never got round to shagging her, I think this could have some explanation as to why I can't stop thinking about her.. 'unfinished business'
