AVERAGE COST TO BRING WIFE TO USa
ive been married for about 6 months to my P-wife, so far so good. just wanted to post how much it cost me to get her over here and what i beleive it will cost the average american who will go through a similar process
i used an agency just because i would meet the most amount of girls that i chose and dont think would be able to do by myself
all cost is calculated on average stay of two weeks
air-------------------------------------------1,000
two weeks hotel (40 a day) -------------------560
food (25 a day)--------------------------------350
agency fee, plus they do all papers-------------1,300
going out and some gifts-------------------------500
it took her 10 months for visa, you will probably go to see her at least once in between for one week
air-------------------------------------1,000
hotel and food at same rate as before----500
some extra expenses---------------------400
it will cost you about $6,000 give or take, just to bring the girl here and no guarantee that it will be a good relationship, with the phone calls and money to help her live and sometimes family you might spend more, theres different ways of doing this whole thing, but an average guy that decides to take this on just plan ahead and have a budget set just for this. good luck

I'm not sure I actually equate getting a wife with an itemisable expense list.......
It could almost be a Mastercard ad:
air----------------------------------------------------1,000
two weeks hotel (40 a day) ----------------------------560
food (25 a day)----------------------------------------350
agency fee, plus they do all papers----------------------1,300
going out and some gifts--------------------------------500
Catching your newly-bought wife with the Postman-------Priceless

LOL ...
I am confused as to why 2 weeks hotel is necessary once you get her to USA. I know it was in the OP, but I would invite her home.

This looks to me like you found someone on an internet dating site (agency ???) , went on one trip , then applied for a visa (where did you get married ??). Did you really only see her for one more week , in 10 month, before she got her visa.
As far as I can see , all the "expenses" are for your holidays (flights/hotel/food etc), and not really to do with the "cost of bringing a wife to USA" , as there is no mention of her flights ,visa's etc.

Yeah me too - confused?
Sounds more like a quick fix option - not a relationship long time...?
Also sounds like your buying a piece of meat - it will cost you around $6000. ?
What is that all about?
I cannot admit to knowing US immigration laws but I do know that UK laws don't take kindly to a straight import type marriage...! need to know the lady first, maybe get her over on a tourist/sponsorship visa, then if all goes well the marriage and a permanent visa - !!!! but usually require quite a bit of background support to go with it - i.e contact, letters. phone calls etc. etc.

this is not a route id take(hence knowing the gf for 3 years already and no visit yet)
but half the people that are reacting negatively to this post also advocate sending a bg they just met to their villages to sponsor them
if anything, this way might work better because the 2 people are seeing each other daily
