If you want to stay in touch, phone is not "working" and you have an e-mail address ... let me think ... absolutely send her an email!!! What are you waiting for.

Sorry that your having phone problems dazza - there are numerous possibilities including:-

Good Options

1) Govenment shutting down mobile networks as all contracts are illegal - read here: Bangkok Post: Top Stories

2) She had her phone lost or stolen. (Bit bad cos you will have to pay for a new one).

3) Shes run out of money and sold her phone.

4) Shes forgot to charge her phone.

Bad Options (hopefully not any of these)

5) Shes had an accident.

6) Shes got a new boyfriend and shes otherwise occupied for now. (This one will resume normal phone service once new b.f has left town).

7) Her Thai boyfriend has sold her phone.

As you dont say where she is etc - its hard for us non-psychic BM's to tell you. If disruption in service continues or you dont get an email reply - consult Mav at HHplc - top investigations guarenteed .

I'm pretty sure her phone was in her back pocket and it fell in the toilet when she was doing her business. Still at the mobile shop getting dried out.

i think number 5, 6 and 7 isn`t that what dazza wanted to hear

maybe she is just having no signal - this can happen from time to time...
already had the same problem!

try to send her an e-mail

gosh, this makes me miss my Indonesian cellular network for providing 'delivery status' message for every sms sent! So, you'll know if the destinated phone number was switched off/has got no signals for some periods(you'll get 'delivered' message hours/days later), or the number is no longer active ('failed' message sent to your inbox).

Dunno if your mobile phone carrier has this service for its customers (Australian ones don't.. What a bummer )

Still..... send her sms(plural) at different times, and see if one has her replying! Plus, send her an email.

Don't think too much of the reason behind it. It'll just cause you nauseous feelings in the end

I cant phone my g/f either mainly because she was talking to me walking down the road in the pi**ing rain - rain got into phone and 'kaput' - solly phone not work.
However she emailed me to let me know she's going to the MBK ctr to get it fixed, and "velly solly my phone get to mutt wet"

Question is...........why hasn't she emailed you.....????????????

(you're an old (solly) young cynic IJ...........55555555555)

Why dont you have any phone number to other family members, or friends of her! Good to have in situations like this!

What a load of crap from the girl.
When was the last time you walked down the road and could not make a call cause your phone got wet.
Obvisiously got better things to do than talk.
Sorry just my opinion but must be busy there in low season

Low season - Raining season.
I can stand in the rain all day and my phone does not stop working.
Maybe they build the better in Aust.
Only thing is they come from the same place.

Regards

Oh yeah, I saw on the news that it was raining heavily in Australia since long time last week.

Well, mystery solved, it's now a battery problem, it wasn't the rains fault 555

Rain, Battery, Service problems.
Any other excuse out there to justify why the phone won't work?

anybody ever hear of a phone having a virus??
my gf couldnt store #'s all of a sudden and the phone kept shutting off
the guy said she had a virus in her phone????

and before any wisecracks, i would still get countless calls from her 2 aunt's phones

i just never heard of a phone getting a virus, maybe just how she translated it to me
