Nice day out for new girl in town?
Ok here's a scenario>>>
A lady in one of the new shops in JC has caught your eye and several times in the past couple of weeks you've stopped to talk to her. The shop is part of a chain and she's been sent from head office in Bangkok to manage it for 1 year and it's her first time in Phuket.
For the first month her boss will not allow her a day off as she has to train new staff but say the time came for her to have a day off, what would you do and where would you take her to give her a nice day out and earn yourself a few brownie points?
I'm thinking something along these lines...
Afternoon visit Wat Chalong...would be boring for me as I've been several times but the Thais love visiting their temples.
Then go up the mountain to the Big Bhudda which is nearby where you can see over the whole of Phuket.
On round to Promthep Cape for the sunset...again I don't find this very interesting but the Thais seem to love it...sunsets are just as good over Patong!
Back to Patong for a nice meal at somewhere like the Fuji (or maybe prawn fishing?), followed by a movie sat on a sofa in the back row.

Contact Simbotours on XXXXX XXX for that exclusive one on one guided tours of Phuket. Highest standards of integrity promised at all times (OK I lied about that bit). On the other hand your option is a good all rounder but if I were impressing I'd go with Chalong or one of the seafood restaurants past the Phuket zoo rather than back into the hustle and bustle of Patong.

sounds like a good plan LOS.....though even somewhere funky for dinner like the reggae cafe on the hill (with that stunning view at sunset) would be good for a gal from BKK if she is not too straight

sounds a very nice night out for her on that first date, putty in your hands.
or on the other hand, you could turn up drunk, not shower since 0800, have 4drunken mates go with you with drunken bgs in tow, then at the movies try and grope her, and then offer 3000 baht for lt.

Sounds pretty good to me as well but would agree that the choice of restaurant would be better out of Patong and away from JC, she must be sick of JC after spending a month there!!
Think I'd consider Ratri in Karon, great views, nicely laid out, live music and on the way back from Promtep, only bad thing got to tackle all those steps!!!

There's nothing to report Dennis. She still can't get time off. That's the problem generally with trying to meet the shop girls. They work loooooooong hours and get very little time off. Also she works in Jungceylon but rooms in Phuket Town as many of them do because it's too expensive in Patong for them.
Bargirls/freelancers are easy pickings and have much more free time.
But I like to have these long term projects...there's always a great feeling of achievement when one is successful

Don't give up on her, los!! I think you have figured out the perfect date. I love the wat/Big Buddha angle, as most of the TGs I have ever been with love their Buddha(except for the Catholic girl and she loved JC). Personally, I would go with the prawn fishing option. It is more casual, loads of fun, and will loosen her up and get the laughs happening, You know they always say if you cna get a girl laughing, then you are most of the way there with her!!

There's stunners working all over JC. I'm trying to think of an excuse to go to the Customer Service desk in Robinson! Always several beauties on duty and that classy uniform they wear...jacket; shorts and high heels...really does it for me
At the moment most shops close at 11pm but there's talk once high season really kicks in the bosses want them open till midnight.
