I've caught the tri-nations there before. You can count me in, I think I'm there for most of them.

Well Sale put Leicester to the sword in quite an impressive way. I see the Crusaders came through as well to win the Super 14s. Bit of a soupy mess that game, I caught the replay.

Sale were awesome, different class, well deserved.

Not at Thomond mate, they murdered us there.

In all fairness though, I think that Sale learned a lot about being on the big stage from their Heineken cup experience this year. On a neutral ground it would be a great game. Maybe next year's final?

A very good performance from Sale Steve. They beat a fine Leicester side easily. Its about time the league winners actually got the trophy.
A stupid idea to get the winners to play again and possibly lose. I could just see this in football

I think they do it in RL, a trophy for finishing top and one for winning the final. It would have been a travesty if Sale had got nothing from the season.

Congratulations Steve...........I watched the replay yesterday afternoon and there was only one team in it.....Sale played really well and dominated.....you must be quite chuffed..........

and on the Super14 final.......I am really glad that I didn't take up a late offer of a trip down th CH CH after a mate pulled out on Saturday morning and offered me his flight + tickets..........

Watched it....well sort of....on the big screen at home with a couple of mates........you could hardly see it.......the screen was mostly white due to the very heavy fog........never seen......or not seen....anything quite like that.............

The boys at the ground rang us to say that they couldn't see the palyers at all and then sent us texts asking what happenned........55555.....they left at half time as did many others.....

An absolute disaster for the end of what was a prettty good season.........

Oh and on the question of Premiers......whoever wins the play offs/grand final here is the champion........doesn't really matter who wins on the rounds table just who wins the GF.........the winner of the table is not celebrated it just gives them home advantage for the semis and to play the 4th placed team.........2nd and 3rd play off with 2nd getting home advantage in the other semi....and then for the GF the higher palced of the two teams gets home advantage............

pretty much the same for all sports here.......the table is just a set up for the play offs/GF
