Winter Olympics
He had some high scores in NHL and i like to watch him in the club matches at canal+ (The other old Neslund was my favorite player)
Ref:Naslund has 24 goals and 31 assists in 52 games this season
And With the Finns, you can never tell.Rough games and close scores. And the action to go right to the final whistle. They have their SISU.
And you now what happens when they meet your country in Olympic Games.
It will be close and a lot of fighting and situations they will take advantage at.

He claimed the first start was false, which it wasn,t. The second start Marianne Timmer moved, and was disqualized.

Hello Marc 26, I don,t think this is joking time about this. I think when you saw this on television I think you agree with me this man should be banned from the Olimpics at Torino.

Yes
What i meant was that i saw on Swedish TV and they mention that in Torino Town the dutch(the orange) did make a lot of fun and did seem to have a happy time in the city and you could see Orange collors everywhere.
Many people goes to Torino these days to have a party and se some events.
And between theese its partytime and having fun with others.
But again your skating athletes like Marianne Timmer is top and she will be back

It was the 500 meters where she got disqualified and yes it was a good start the first one. But she will be back on the 1000 here best distance. Lets hope she is extra motivated now.
hey paulie , you know the orange can party right

Gretzky is a Canadian Icon and an example to every celebrity and sports star. A class act in every respect. What is happening right now in the press is sad. I would seriously doubt the guy has ever even jaywalked let alone broken any criminal laws.

Problem is the reports started out saying Janet bet 500,000, then down to under 100K, I'd like the media in this and so many other cases to stick to what is known and not speculate or print rumours.
This kind of shit is happening everyday and ruining alot of lives. A lifetime of good can be shot to hell by some reporter trying to make a name.

Sweden got bronze medal today in downhill (ladies), we beat kazakstan (english spelling?) with 7-2 today in Ice Hockey.
Look promising for the first time in 12 years.
I have Swedish TV in the bar (hopefully tomorrow) so I will still follow the winter games...

We get a little touchy here when it comes to Gretzky. Half the country hated Janet for taking him south, the other half hated Bruce McNall. His uncle ran for parlement and his father starred in commercials.
I consider myself really fortunate, I saw Gretzky play in Edmonton, Jordon in Chicago and Rocket Roger pitch in Toronto. When I see Tiger win the masters I'll be happy. These guys will be taked about for years to come.
And if you want to talk a really rare sports occurance, I saw the Roughriders beat Hamilton in the Grey Cup in '89. To Canadian football fans, you know how special that is.
By the way Canada beat Italy 6 - 2 and the Italian team has 9 Canadians on it.

We really do a poor job of supporting our athletes here. Just like Lennox Lewis.

Winter Olympics
This was a problem in international Hockey some years ago.
Countrys like Italy and i think Germany build up there Hockey Teams with old
NHL players who was over the top or not good enough to represent their countrys, and they was payd well.
Today you for ex the long distance runners from Africa represent many diffrent countrys in summer games.
If you are good in sport you easyly get a new passport in many countrys.
And if you come from the 3 world it is a way out.
