Liverpool 3, Everton 1

Even without Steven Gerrard and playing with 10 men for most of the time, Liverpool played a good game....Alonso really had a good game. But like their previous derby matches...2 red cards and 10 yellow cards LOL...intense game but worth every minute of watching.....looks like Ally will be out celebrating!

You missed a super game IJ, Liverpool down to 10 after 18mins, Gerrard sent off and it was full on ever after that, All the players on both sides were getting stuck in, I think it ended up 9 yellows and 2 reds, But more importantly Liverpool went 2up with a Og from Neville just before the break, And then Garcia knocked in the second just after the break, Cahill got one back but Everton never looked like winning the match, And then on 75mins the match was evened up, After Van der Meyde got a straight red for elbowing Alonso into the face, And 5mins later Kewell finshed them off with a stunning strike from outside the box....

Brilliant result and performance for Liverpool

Yeah great game...........Kewell's goal was quite a spectacular left foot banger..............drifting away from the keeper into the corner of the net mid high........keeper had no chance.....

Good to see Cahill & Kewell (Australians) score in the Derby......hope they can carry that form into the World Cup.....Viduka has been scoring of late as well.
