Favourite Golfer
With the US Masters coming up I thought that it would be interesting to know who is your favourite golf player and why...........
I know the immediate answer for most people is Tiger Woods because he is just so dynamic and so far ahead however we need to find your second favourite if Tiger is the answer..............
Mine is Adam Scott.......as an Aussie and as a man with a fantastic manner and swing...........his putting needs a bit of work but he is great to watch......He had a real chance until Saturday at the TPC but blew it apart with a double figure over par effort.........Stephen Ames from Canada eventually won it........
I also like "The Elk" Steve Elkington from Aus................he is so laid back
Others I really admire are Sergio and Jose Maria from Spain.........Couples and Daly fro the US and Campbell from NZ.......
Ones I can't stand are Davis Love the Turd, Rory Sabatini and Farkin' Faldo.........oh and Monty always looks like he has just sucked on a lemon as well........
Great new prospect.........Geoff Ogilvy from Australia.....a real chance for the Masters
From the past.......lee Trevino........geat golfer and one funny b'stard

From the past I used to love watching Seve play, Greg Norman had the most cavaliar style, always went for it never laid up. Lee Trevino had the be the most entertaining to watch he seemed to be able to keep chatting even while swinging the club.
Current players, I would love Sergio to do better, I like his happy go lucky style, agree with Adam Scott, he just looks the part, Paul Casey, David Howell and Nick Doherty are promising Ryder Cup hopes for us.
But if you got to pay money to watch someone at the moment then it has to be Tiger especially in his current form this year.

My favourites
Days gone by - Seve in his prime was wonderful to watch, great recovery shots(well his driving was never that accurate ) and Lee Trevino always played with a smile.
Todays players leave me a little cold,
Tiger is always the one to beat, Sergio I like, and also Vijay Singh. I have high hopes for Justin Rose one of these days
I hear Dodger is pretty good too

I am not really a big watcher of golf...
I suppose my favourite would be Darren Clarke, Dont really know why but have always kinda followed his caraer, And always keep an eye on his scores and results in competitions...
Other fav's would be Harrington, Daly, Garcia and Donald....

Tiger is No. 1, of course!
But will cast a vote for JD, as well. Larger than life!
Out of the past, Payne Stewart.
Legends of the Game: Bobby Jones, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Jack Nicklaus. Did I forget anybody?
