1st goal to Japan was a blatant foul on Schwarzer......Australia not much luck in front of goal....but then Cahill came on and turned the match on it's head....jap keeper had a brilliant first 80mins.....sensational finish.

Go Aussies
Yes today is a very happy day for me. The Aussies got up 3-1 when they were down 0-1 right up until the 84th minute of the game. Watch out World cos rumour has it the Aussies are the fittest of all the teams competing.
Guus Hiddinck had the Aussies train for 2 hard hours only a few hours before their friendly game against Greece. He wanted to see how good they could play after an exhausting hit out. Could mean the difference especially when some games get into extra time after the first round.
Also being from an Italian background, FORZA ITALIA 2-0 against Ghana. I love the Aussies and wish them well but my heart is with ITALY. I'm not a hypocrite , but blood is thicker than water.
Anyway to keep the peace here are some photos.

None like playing in the back, but I must say these recruits were fairly flexible and their ball skills were exceptional.
They can all play for the full 90 mins so no doubt about their fitness. Great head skills and always in control. I reckon they probably have had their fair share of experience. Even though one doesnt play for a regular club , she sure knew the game routine and didnt require much coaching on my part. A natural talent and this free agent Im sure will be sitting back and waiting for the best offers.
