Yep all credit to them and to Ghana..... Shame i had the czechs down to win that game aswell... Ghana will have given themselves a chance to qualify and IMHO they look a better team than America... But the USA did doo very well against a decent Italy team....

Nice to see the US team play well, even if they didn't win. Keller had a great game, as did Brian McBride.
McBride, with stitches under his eye from the elbow that drew that first red card of the match in the first half, played an inspired second half, which really helped his mates rally behind his leadership. When asked about playing with the pain from the bloody injury he suffered, he said he didn't really feel it much, because most of the nerves in his face are dead(from past injuries, which resulted in the five steel plates in his face). He said, "Just wiped the blood off, and played on , as you do when that happens."

I was so disappointed in the USA team after the first match that i almost didn't go watch it this time, but damn glad I did. Ha ha, i found myself in some smoky Paris pub surrounded by obnoxious Italians and they could not believe their sun gods did not win....
The USA really played a gutsy game, too bad they just couldn't get the 3 points, not that even the 1 was expected.... Admittedly the Italian players didn't writhe around on the ground in excruciating pain as much as i expected, but I thought there was a very stark contrast in the level of "toughness". McBride stands up, walks offs, wipes off the blood and comes back and plays his a** off. The Italians needed several stretchers and no blood. Well, let's just hope Italy can beat the Czechs and the USA can beat Ghana, because I just KNOW the world is anticipating a great USA-Brazil match up at some stage during this world cup!

As much as it pains me to say it! The US of A footandball team played brilliantly last night in holding what is supposed to be one of footandballings superpowers to a draw.
Well done to all of them, they played well as a footandball team.
And if JB has a go at me about footandball.......I'm not listening............So there........La La La De La La......Laaaaa!.............Not listening.

The US has had their backs to the wall since the first goal by the Chech's. They came into the tournament over rated and flat. But I must say the draw with Italy may be their awakening. Hope it's not too little too late.
Agreed Marc on the Brazilian women----Off the chart Hot!...And that goofy phenon Ronaldinio gets his pick of the lot....bastard!
