Bellamy for the reds

Craig Bellamy completed his dream move to Liverpool and set his sights on winning the Barclays Premiership title.

Bellamy said: "Just to get the transfer completed today (Thursday) was an unbelievable moment for me.

"I just got married last month and that was obviously one of the highlights of my life, but this is on par with that - I know the missus might not be happy with me saying that, but it's true!

Happy now Ally

Yeah I think its a great signing, I am delighted as he will bring something extra up front for Liverpool, And we got him on the cheap aswell makes it even better, I understand what Jonny is saying about his disipline but I think those days are over for him, I am sure he put his head down and work really hard to make it work at Liverpool as he is also a fan of the club....

A very good signing for L'pool.
With Morientes gone,Cisse going back to France when his leg is OK, and Fowler near the end of his career,Benitez had to sign at least two strikers to back up Mr Crouch. Bellamy is a great asset,a proven goalscorer and a nasty bastard too. I can't stand the guy,but he is a good player.

Another striker still needed Ally, Torres would be a brilliant signing, but will he leave Spain?

Yes I am sure he would leave for the right club, But he wont be going to Liverpool thats for sure, We just dont have a spare 25million to buy him with, Chelsea we aint, There is no Russians around our place...55555555..

I would say we will be looking for a striker in the 10million range so it will be more than likely be someone like Darren Bent coming in, I had read in the Mirror though that Liverpool had all but sown up a deal for Dirk Kuyt after the world cup but dont know how true that is and to be honest dont know much about him at all, Except what I have seen from him in the world cup which didnt really impress me much to be honest, Could turn out to be an expensive flop like Kezman was for Chelsea...

Yeah have heard them rumours too, But Defoe is a no-go after what Rafa said about him recently, Dirk Kuyt im not sure about either, I also heard another Dutchman, Mr. Kromkamp could be on his way out the door already if Liverpool sow up deals for Alves and David Aurrelle (not correct spelling) from Valencia on a free transfer, They have also signed Pauletta a young (18)Argentinian centre-back who is supposed to be one a super talent... Time will tell.....

Yea the rumors go,and mostley bull, but this Dirk Kuyt is hot, remember when you saw him last match he did play more like a wing, and afther horseface
leave the field he did play ok as a centreforward

Ref rumors:

Dirk Kuyt and Craig Bellamy will be announced as the replacements for Fernando Morientes and Djibril Cisse early next week or on Friday. Monday is the likely press conference.
Benitez feels Peter Crouch could be a super sub and provide a goal nearly every match in that role and may opt to have a Bellamy/Kuyt partnership at Anfield If Benitez shocks everybody with the £18 million record signing of David Villa then Dirk Kuyt will probabaly not come. As it stands at the moment (LIVERPOOL are not cash strapped) and incoming will be:
<> CRAIG BELLAMY
<> DIRK KUYT
<> KEVIN NOLAN (possible)
<> DANIEL ALVES
<> VICTOR SANCHEZ
<> FABIO AURELIO
<> GABRIEL PALETTA
<> MARK GONZALEZ

Bellamy, Gonzalez, Paletta and Aurelio are all confirmed as far as I know....

I also know they are trying relly hard to bring in Alves, And Kuyts name is always floating around aswell so you never know, Maybe there is a bit of truth in it... We will see...

I dont even know who Sanchez is to be honest, Have never heard of him linked to Liverpool....Kevin Nolan I dont think Benitez would go for him as we have a few options for centre midfield already, And Nolan would be a very expensive squad player IMO... So cant see that happening either..

I think Liverpool are going to bring in a replacement goalkeeper aswell, As Dudek has agreed to join ??????? (Cant remember) adn Kirkland looks to be joining Wigan, So that only leaves us with Carson for backup... So expect a new keeper... Also likely to be leaving are Troare, Pongolle, Hamann, Krompkamp, Cisse, Le Tellac and maybe even Kewell (There has been talk)...

Its going to be an exciting summer...

I thought L'pool were skint

Looks a big buying spree to me,the clearout is good though, not many of those players worth keeping anyway. Just hope all these new signings adapt to Premiership football quickly.

Same same Shevshenko

They are

Gonzalez and Pauletta are already paid for (4M&2M), Aurelio (Free)....
