Bad news, innit?

I did not see the game but I thought Brazil would have been favourites to win it. My boss in work will be gutted 'cos she had Brazil in the sweepstake

Yes he posted in the wrong section.....but he is spot on about ZZ.....sublime preformance....whilst most of the supposed stars have rarely done anything worthwhile, Zidane put his hand up with a gtreat performance against Brazil.

He did do well last night....... But that was the first time since Real Madrid beat Leverkusen in the 2002 (i think) champions league final he has actually done anythhing...... He WAS a good player.... but 1 good preformance in 4.... Not good enough... Throughout this tournament he hasnt done anything.... But he did do very ell last night and i would like to see him finish his career as world champion because of what he has done in the past.....

I thought he was pretty good the game before as well (2nd Round v Spain) where he capped off a good game with the sealing goal.

Yeah ok Mav ill give you that one....He was quite good then aswelll but over than those 2 games he hasnt done anything for years..... I bet Juventus laughed all the way to the bank when Real Madrid paid such a high price for a player who they knew wasnt at his best anymore... So he has played 2 good games in 4 years

I think that Ziz still has it actually and if he backs it up with 2 more match winning performances like that ...........which makes France the winners.......he will be te palyer of the tournamnet and celebrated around the world.....and there is a good chance of this happennning IMHO

But then again if France flops so does the man and vice versa!!!!!

Congrats to the france team, not just Zidane.A great match made by them and brazil sleeping all the time, beaten by their arrogance. But canīt see France as WC because Italy will make. But second place is well worth for france...
