Germany 0 - Italy 2

Oh well , at least the Germans don't have too far to go home.

Guess that will have screwed up a few more predictions.

I bet on Germany and Italy did two goals in 2 minutes on Extra time... Soo bad. I really wanted Germany to win.

In the bar, it was just me and Tim26swe who watched the game.

Same with me

In the end it was two very tired teams and out of that you get the two goals

F..ck my hope is on Portugal now, would be fun if they go al the way

I'm thinking France too!!!!!!!........Portugal don't seem to know where the goal is.........appalling effort against a 10 man England....about 50 scoring opportunities after Rooney was ent off and none converted!!!!

Well that's sure one way to get Portugal to score goals.........I am betting less than 50% since the second round..........got all second round teams except for Ghana + Ecuador in though........

Italy all the way.... I backed them at the start to get here and now that they are there, I would like them to go on and win it, Even though I lost my bet on an England v Italy final... I still would like to see them win it...

Good forecasting Ally, I sure wouldn't have picked Italy
In fact, my two fell a way back Brazil and Argentina.

Its not like me to want them to win anything but I really hope France can do it, just for Zidane and Henry.

You know what.... I actually missed this game... Just as game kicked off i fell asleep and woke up intime to hear the alarm go off to say worktime.... I didnt get the score till i got into frankfurt... Italy have done well.... Really at of the 3 teams left i have very little intrest in who wins... I suppose if i had to chose one i would go for France... As an Englishman i cant cheer on Portugal and they screwed me over when they beat Holland...Also i had a bad experience in Italy... So i must go for France (OMG did i really say that) Just dont want Henry to score many... A nice 1-0 win will do me nicely and keep Klose top scorer

Well done to Zidane I was wrong about him.

Portugal= cheats divers and injury feigners,Oh and a guy who likes to headbutt and gets away with it.

1st, i cant believe how much ive learned to like your futbol!!
also, remember im a newbie fan so sometimes my observations may differ than yours

one comment on the italy-germany game. i liked that the ref was telling alot of the floppers to get up and play

zidane and henry, again to my newbie eyes, look like the best duo in the world cup

Henry has just been brought down in the box , penalty kick to France , Zidane took it , 1 - 0 to France.

You're definately picking up on this "round ball" game Paulie.!!!!

im really enjoying it and watched every game. im starting to notice different aspects of the game that i didnt even know 2 weeks ago

also, canada has been a fantastic area to watch the WC. so many different nationalites
theres an area of vancouver, commercial drive, what an atmosphere, they close down the street. portugal fans were dancing in the streets, singing, so fun
too bad brazil loss, it would have been mayhem

I bet there will be a few people dancing and singing in the street in Quebec too Especially if the score remains 1 - 0

Spent a night in the nick for being drunk and disorderly in rome... They were nicking England fans anyway (1998 world cup qualifier). The thing was what had happened was i fell over.... Not from being drunk.... but because my foot caught the curb on the road we were crossing (Ok i was a little drunk to) 4 italian police officers came accross and i thought they were helping me up.... How stupid was i... Threw me and mate into a police van and spent the night in the nick.... Was warned if i was ever caught again could be in there longer than one night... Been back since and nothing but still i thought that was a bit harsh... Also inide the stadium had to defend myself from Italian police who were starting to give a bit of a beating out to some people for no reason..... We were amongst all the England fan club fans... was a total disgrace and one of the worst incidents ive been involved in at football....
