If England manage to hold on to the Ashes in Oz it will be a bigger achievement than winning them last year. The team is decimated with injuries, and The Aussies will be champing at the bit to get into the new batsmen. With the exception of Panasaar, the new bowlers aren't good enough.
If we win one match I'd be surprised, 4 -0 with one drawn is my prediction.

Can't wait till the Boxing Day Test, My MCC just came through after being on the waiting list for over 12 years. A few weeks ago I was resigned to fact that I wouldn't be going as the 1st 3 days are sold out, now I only have to get there early. As far as the result goes, never under estimate a wounded dog, England could still be a force. Don't forget all Australia needs to do is too loose Pigeon and another bowler through injury or bad form and the 2 sides are a lot more even than the critics/experts would lead you to believe.

OZ 3-1
but be good to see the bloke in the headstocking taking a couple.........55555
Maybe Warney could take him aside and show him some appropriate off field behaviour for a future star spinner............

Talbotman
I CANT agree with the pessimism amongst jonny and the english guys and jonny as a cricket fanatic (yes a scotsman)
i am very impressed by the amount of good fast bowlers england suddenly seem to have even with simon jones and jimmy anderson injured they still have steve harmison, mathew hoggard, sajid mahmoud, stuart broad, and liam plunkett and of course andy flintoff on the reverse side at the moment the aussies are pretty threadbare for pace bowlers glen mgrath is nearing his sell by date brett lee is too inconsistent and behind them there is not much coming through shane warne will again be their main weapon
the only worry i have about england is they might be a batsman light the first 4 strauss, trescothik, cook, pieterson look good but the next position is open for grabs i am not convinced about bell or collingwood maybe ED LYNCH of middlesex is worth a chance
i take the final score to be 3-1 for england with one test drawn

"i take the final score to be 3-1 for england with one test drawn"
sure u havnt got a typo error there 3-1 england you must be joking if england win it would be more like 2-1 or 1-0 with plenty of draws (hope this doesnt come back and haunt me like the last ashes series )
