Skill or Fluke??

Either way, great goal. Still, don't think it was a good a Beckhams half way goal!!

Great opportunist goal, and well executed. Sure he meant it,that was no fluke.
Not dissimilar to Beckhams either.

Really strange title to post here TomMcxx, how could you even consider it to be possibly a fluke???? he looked up and hit a 60 yard ball over the keepers head, what do you think he was considering if not a shot at goal??? he has done it before in the FA cup final I think it was and as for compared to Beckhams goal, why was it not as good??? His technique and timing, in my opinion, was better than Beckhams but Beckham was from more to the right so had possibly a slightly harder angle??

I think it was just a great bit of imporvised skill and shows vision and time to consider and excecute perfectly, keeper slipped but would he have got back had he not?? who knows.

The title was my flippant attitude towards my Liverpudlian friend at work today to wind him up, you know "how could anyone from Liverpool score a goal like that and mean it"! ha ha etc etc

I wasn’t really being serious, just wanted to share the glorious
moment with you all..

And here is Beckhams......

P.S Dodger, Benitez Couldn’t have put that better himself 55555555

Top drawer for me, just seen it on TV. Most of us would miss from that range with or without a 'keeper. He was a bit lucky that the 'keeper slipped, but a great, great goal for me (and I'm a United fan)
