You have a point Jonny, but he is a damn good coach, despite Utd winning the league.
Not sure this is the place to make such a personal comment on the guy.
I could say plenty about Ferguson, but it would look like sour grapes.

Glenn Roeder resigns.
Jose Mourinho is a good coach. From what i see this season, his managing skills clashed with the owner's demands.
Alex has come a long way. After reading his book, i really respect him!!!

From what I hear!
Chelsea 'would' of won the league if the meeting at the start of January of would not of gone totally TITS_UP for a Chelsea point of veiw.
At the senoir board meeting at the start of Jan, to decide new players and the position of the club during the new year, there was a massive arguement between Jose and Roman with their entouage.
Roman turned up with his 'posse' at the table to face Jose, his support staff and a few select directors.
"RA: Which players do you need during the transfer period?
JM: We need 2 defenders, to come in with Komalezez(Cant spell it) and a striker to beef up our forwards.
RA (through a associate): Why do we need another forward? We have Shavchenko on the bench!
JM: Thats why we need another forward, because Shevchenko IS on the bench!"
With that, Roman and his crew stand up, talk loudly to each other, then walk out.
RA never talked to JA from that point until the game the other week when they 'talked' to each other a couple of weeks back. But that was an enginerred press meeting. JM will be gone in the summer, as soon as Chelsea decide on a replacement.
"500 million, is good for winning the league cup!"

Delighted with that. But also congratulations to Chelsea for raising the bar in the level of performance required to win the title.
Once again, the Christmas period was a major deciding factor.
As for Jose, I think his personality and dead pan waki comments add extra spice to what is probably the most popular competition in the world of sport apart from the FIFA World Cup.

Mark Hughes, not sure how I feel about that, he did well with Wales and has sort of succeeded with Blackers but I don't like his style of play and don't know why, not got to excited about that option, I thought it would be Big Sam or Paul Jewell, but reckon I would go for Hughes over them two as options.

Im no expert on French football but he took over a side that had won the title a few times in a row and basically played the same way. His only major signing was Milan Baros.
According to some french reporter, he is leaving because the side needs rebuilding for next season due to some players already agreeing to move on and others approaching retirement.
But then, he totally re-organised Liverpool for the better (im told) and he loves English football. Suppose it will depend on the amount of cash he is given to spend ala Chelsea!

Just see on Dutch Ceefax that this Sam Alliardyce is to be the new coach of Newcastle United for a 3 year term.
Is this the Big Sam that Dodger was refering to?

No as Sishow said, He inherited a great team and he just managed them signing only Baros...
But he done very well for Liverpool in the early days, My only problem with him was all the shite players he brought to the club, He bought some good ones like Hyypia, Henchoz, Risse, Kewell, Finnan, Smicer, Berger, Baros, Dudek, Litminan(Wrong Spelling) and Anelka...
But then he also brought Diomede, Diouf, Diao, Biscan, Troare, Le Tallec, Mieyer, Cheyrou, Cisse (not worth 14m), Some french guy who was getting 40k a week for a year and never even played and lots more that I cant think of...
He won lots of cups for Liverpool but then he spent a lot of money too, And wasted a lot!!
