I was fortunate enough to miss this one 'cos I was working. I have to admit though, that I was quietly pleased that the Argies turned us over today, if it provokes the England management into some changes it will have been worth it.

Good result for Wales which was needed.
We took our opportunities well in the first half and scored some good tries, but played a bit ragged in the second.
More of the same required against Canada next Friday night then the big test against the all blacks.
England??? Ow I bet that hurt.
Ireland playing well against the Box now 15-3 up.

Didn't watch the England match "live" as I don't have Sky, but caught the 1hr highlights at 7pm this evening.
Well what can I say. The same old England, turning good possession and field position over to the opposition with bad mistakes. Too many dropped balls,knock-ons and yet another try given away with an intercepted pass.
Robinson must be going crazy watching this. I still say his backline isn't right, his reserve No10 isn't good enough. Hodgson had a dreadful game before he was pulled off for his own good. His kicking from out of hand was terrible again, wrong options taken...........just awful.
I know the English supporters keep on harping on this, but we still haven't replaced Wilkinson,Johnson and Back with anywhere near as good players. Its going to be a long road, and on todays showing,we'll be lucky to get out of the group stage of next years W' Cup with much.
Wales today? Good first half, but faded in the second period and the Pacific Islands looked a tough match for them. A good win nevertheless.
I enjoyed the Irish game today and thought they played really well. Fine performances all round, and beating SA will give England a bigger task next weekend.
Didn't see the Italy v Australia game, but Italy must have done pretty well to hold the Aussies to a 25 - 18 win.
France v NZ ? Must check the teletext
Scotland v Romania I didn't see,but Scotland did the job and put 40+ points on them. Romania are hardly good opposition though.

New Zealand 47 - France 3
France managed a drop goal to get some points on the board but that was about it. Hope they get it together for the next match in Paris, can't see it though.

Wow, that is a hammering for France. Makes Englands 20 look almost respectable

sure did Rog.....which perplexes me why they couldn't beat the Argie Bargies...and not a particularly good game from the Argies eithere.....?????
France were pathetic.........totally directionless.........the backs were appalling.........but to be fair at least the forwards had a go.......and were the only ones to do something with the bal rather than drop it or throw it away.....
France really slid down the scale for me on that match.........but as we always say about them....which team is gonna turn up next week....
I think it was a good win for Wales.......the pacific islanders are a tough + very physical team to play...and Ireland showed the yarpies why they shouldn't leave SA....they are an appallingly bad travelling team.....can only win at high altitude with very parochial home crowds.......but having said that Ireland played some good footie.......
Bye Bye Andy Robinson........

I'd call that a good weekend for Northern Hemisphere Rugby!!!!

55555 Not so sure about that Nels.
England can consider themselves very lucky to scrape that win.
SA let themselves down with poor kicking for penalties, and selfish play when an offload would have been a surefire try. I hope Robinson recognises this, as the side SA put out was pretty inexperienced. Next weekend could be a whole lot different.
Ireland played fantastically well today in dreadful conditions. They are my tip for the 6Nations without a doubt. Superb handling, great forward display, and made the Aussies look very poor. How they miss Larkham was shown today.
Wales and Scotland both had good wins, but the opposition wasn't exactly great.
The French made a better show of it,but still a poor second to NZ.
I'd love to see the Irish v NZ right now.

yep.....not the same team without him......and this tour has shown they don't really have anyone who is within coo-ee of him
Yep.....would seem on form Ireland vs ABs the two best teams at present.....Ireland made Wallabies look ordinary.....Abs didn't realy raise a sweat against French........but it was a diffrent team than the week before.........France will still be a big danger at World Cup time at home......

Ireland definitely the form team, the should waltz through the 6 Nations this time and be a genuine threat for the WC. If they have the luck that saw England get their first choice 15 fit through to the latter stages you would have to think that they are in with a shout.
I saw the 2nd half of the England game and we were awful. Anyone else see Martin Johnson on the rugby club? Very honest. I think I'm beginning to understand the problem, England are trying to play an expansive game and they are crap at it.
It's hard not to feel for Corry, he seems like a good honest pro but I'm not sure he should be England captain. He's certainly not the form No8 in England, so it's another case of the guy getting the shirt for the wrong reasons.
I reckon that the RFU should bite the bullet and give Robinson a big fat cheque to bugger off. They should then appoint Clive Woodward to oversee the 6 Nations and World Cup with Martin Johnson in some sort of role, maybe coaching maybe not.

I agree Steve.....but would leave out Woodward now!!!!........just give the job to Marti Johnson......and let him have sole control......with a bit of forwards + backs coaching help from a couple of his mates who WON the last world cup with him..........against all odds.......if that doesn't inspire the lads they just ain't got it.........
It was a rubbish game wasn't it..........55555

No,he is in media now. Sometimes seen on SkySports, TV pundit, probably in hospitality at his old club Leicester.
He would make a great coach, the players would have the utmost respect for him, he has won it all and done it all. A perfect replacement for Robinson, a so so blindside flanker of the eighties. A decent enough forwards coach, but not in charge of the countries team.

That is what i was thinking, He was a great leader on the pitch but it would be unfair to put him charge of an international team a year before the world cup.
England do need someone with a bit of passion in the set up with Brian Moore another possibility but will the Ar££oles at twickers go for someone like that.
Me I'm quite enjoying watching them losing though.
