Looks like you should have left the clubs behind and taken a bucket and spade with you.

Think you would have found less sand if you had been lying down at the beach.

Hi Gents!
Like you guys mentioned its the Country Club 9 hole Course. Pic 4 is indeed the Par4 8th hole. Had only time to visit the course twice. And played 2x9holes each time. 2100 baht for 2x9holes incl. caddy fee and golf cart. The course layout isnt to hard but some holes are quite tricky to play (my favourites: 3rd par 5, 6th short par3, 8th long par4 and 9th nice par 5 with nice green location).
played an average 86 on my first visit 18 holes followed by a good 79 on the next day. the greens are quite sandy for me likes but that is thailand. nelson: have been playing with a frend that came down to phuket with me. next time a bm match is up for sure!
have been playing around patts alot (laem chabang=beautiful!) and this was my first time playing around phuket. will do alot more playing in mid. february 07 when i will be around for 5 weeks.
1. not quite fairway shot
2. beautiful scenery
3. my favourite place to be
4. phuket country club, 9hole. course layout.
5. cheers!
cheers,

First set of pictures showed mostly sand and the second set a lot of water. Perhaps SeaFox was right the beach would have been the place!

I think methinks i want to be in the group behing Duncs+Dodger too. When im down in February i want to play all the courses down in Phuket. Whats the favourite course for you guys down there? Loch Palm looks quite nice from the Advertisement that i have seen. Blue Canyon is advertised even here in Austria as a top course but i have read reviews on the net that is better to visit other courses due to snobbish management there. How is Laguna? I've seen theres one Club near Phuket in Phang Nga. Anybody played that one?
Anyway can't wait to play with you guys and enjoy a nice day of ball smacking! (Winner pays for the drinks.. )

I've played all of the above.....except the course near Phangna you are talking abou.sorry don't know it....
My fave is Blue Canyon.......but we normally play the 9 at PCC.........too hot and we are usually too hung over to play much more....
We are going to play Loch palm in early jan......I really like this one but haven't played it for a couple of years.......
Definitely look up Nicke + Dodger + Duncs1 before you are out again......its a good day out playing a round with the MTB lads........

Hi Nelsonone!
Will do for sure. Cant wait to hit it "long and hard" again. Golf Season here in Austria is over now. Snowfall this week so all courses closed. I remember last November when i still was playing Golf here in the 3rd week of November. I applied for the Expat Golfcard too in Phuket so playing Golf every 2 or 3 days a week (...besides scuba diving) is a must when im down there . Plus its "quite" cheap to play alot compared to playing here.
Hope to have some good days out with the other Golf addicted BM's in February. Good phun.
Cheers,
