2006 Melbourne Cup
Well the Japanese horses ran 1st and 2nd.....beat the rest of the field quite easily.
Yeats was slaughtered by K.Fallon........cnut of a ride........missed the start......had it wide most of the way around.....then took up the running and set a pace that was far too quick......set it up for the Japs. l was on the second horse each way........lost by a whisker

went in the bookies to back yeats....... something was telling me it wasnt to be,had a look, was put off....sandown- sat,no good.....sat night -breeders cup,no good.
saved me the few pennies i did have after the weekend.
