Melbourne Formula One Grand Prix

Well my apartment is about 500m from the Albert Park Track, and the fcukers are as noisy as fcuk.

Traffic is fcuked, and l feel like a prisioner.........and l fcuking hate motor sport....it's fcuking bawring.

Then there are the fcuking cnuts that walk around with their Grand Prix passes hanging around their neck, hours after the event has finished, as if to say "Hey l went to the Grand Prix today, aren't l a super fcukin cool guy".....TOSSSERS

Only fun part was watching an F11 or F18 roar up and down past my balcony.....scared the sh1te outta me first time it went past.

Apart from the above l had a pleasant day

Mav, if I'd have known ya live that close to the track, I'd have come down & watched the race & camped at your place.

I'd have slipped ya 20 baht for the couch.

I'll make a tentative booking now for 2008.

Don't feel so bad bout hating motorsport my friend.............I aint too keen on ladyboys either.

Lets beg to differ !555555555555555555555555555555555555

Well, if you were smart you would move to Sydney, because we can't get any event happening here. The Olympics was the last, but it is nice and quiet now. You could also try Patong, but it is a bit busier than Sydney. And just as noisy and quick with the new one way traffic situation.

Make it 50 Baht Craig, and then we go together and share this amount. I love the sound of screaming F1 engines too.

Best experience was during the '94 Monaco GP, when Ferrari still had their V12 engines. My Buddha... you could hear exactly where they were on the circuit, because of their screaming engines.

Sorry to pour cold water on F1 enthusiasts, but stand by for yet another season of winning races on pit lane strategy, and the first car to the first corner on lap 1

If you want proper racing, and excitement, do yourself a favour and watch the MotoGP racing. It beats F1 hands down!!

I was at Monaco the last time they ran the V12, can't remember the year. 2000 or so?

I always thought of Monaco as a procession, a very dull race, but when I went and saw it for myself I understood. It's not just a race, it's an event, and a special one at that.

Am not sure of the year too Steve, but you are right, it is an event on it's own. It is great to be there at least once for a whole race weekend and you have a perfect time. And the sound.....
