keep an eye on Carl Froch, getting better all the time, got a right dig on him!![/quote] I can tell there are a lot of boxing die hards out there on the MB and it is good to see, everyone,s different take on the boxing subject, nothing like getting together on fight night to watch a good bout or two for breaking the ice(exept Thia nightlife that is ) The reason i pulled the upper quote is that during carls amature days one of my club lads fought him in the ABA finals at 71 L/MIDDLE in Birmingham when he came back from the second round the first thing he say,s to me is Fxxxx hell this bloke can bang, we had done our home work but he suprised us with his power, And now a pro he has done the same to a lot of good fighters he will be one to watch ,i know that in training he work,s like a demon. He is desperate to fight joe but i recon joe just minght have the edg ,joe is still in tip top condition and can think under pressure , he can take a good dig and still respond and come back , so even as it is pointed out he is in the 35 bracket he will be around a short while longer i think .I agree about the contender thing but as everyone knows fighters need to put a few quid away for a rainy day ,We all know a fighters life is not an  easy one for every champ there are a hundred hopeing to be , REGARDS ED ps i am in BKK on the 9th of june for so any one around for a chat and a beer or three sent info

And Mayweather well, He was just to denfensive and just jabbed through the whole fight, Never got any sort of combinations together in the whole match really, Got the odd good punch in but never capitalised on it, His accrucy was much the better of the two and he looked the classier fighter but was too negative, And never put in the kind of performance to win the belt, A draw probably would have been a fair result as neither of them deserved to win, As opposed neither to deserved to lose  If they end up having a re-match I would not even bother watching
