I dont like the way that Chelsea are winning games at the moment while playing crap. Or all the goals they are scoring in the last 5 mins.

Not looking good for liverpool, but I thought that 2 years ago!

Utd 3 -AC Milan 2

Utd left it until the last minute to score the winner tonight. 2 from Rooney, and one from Ronaldo. Kaka scored both for AC Milan.

Those two away goals may be Utds downfall. Fortunately, Milans goalkeeper Didi is rubbish.

I hope tomorrows game Chelsea v Liverpool will have a few goals too.

Did Milan actually bring on a player for Gatusso? 'Cos as soon as he went off, Milan surrended the game to UTD.

But I do think that Rooney's first has a bit of a suspesion of hand-ball when he controlled it. Can't believe that no one else saw it apart from me! Still Scholes flick was exceptional.

Yes! Dida is a pile of crap.

Was an exciting game to kick off the Semi's......but United conceeding goal may come back to haunt it, but at 2-1 down the would have taken 3-2 no doubt.

Not sure how Ronaldo got credited with the first goal seeing as the keeper pushed over the line at his second attempt to save it.

Yes Sishow l thought it might have been handball as well.....none of the camera angles caught it too well.......the one's l saw anyway.

Saw and enjoyed the game. Although the the footbal itself was not really great, the tension and battling was there. I think by losing Gattuso, Milan eventually lost the game as well.
The real highlight for me was the pass from Scholes to Rooney which lead to the 2nd goal of Man Utd.

But I fear, it will not be enough to reach the finals. The Italians are just that bit more cunning!

I have the feeling that the finals maybe be a repeat of the one 2-3 years ago, hence Liverpool-AC Milan.

Yes, you are right. I loved that game and was amazed to see an Italian team to concede 7 goals on this level.

Chelsea win by solitary goal........got a gut feel this could end up in a penalty shoot out next week.

Yes, I think so too. Both teams are pretty much equal to each other.

I think your right Jonny, I think it will come back to haunt Liverpool that they never scored last night, But in saying that they have the best defensive record at home this season, Only conceding 5 goals in the league with the games against Arsenal in the cup the only blemish really... So it could still be a very tight one... Advantage to Chelsea and if Liverpool cant wrap up Drogba next week, I think Chelsea will go through on away goals

Afraid I disagree with Ally and IJ here Chelsea must be kicking themselves for not being 3 up by half time. Game over then. But a couple of great saves by Reina kept Liverpool in it. Petr Cech's save from Gerrards volley was world class. He is undoubtably the best keeper in the Premiership.

Liverpool will play a lot better than that at home, and one goal is not enough.
I can see Liverpool sneaking it again Chelsea have to play for 90mins like they did in the first half. If they do, they can win it.

Yeah they could have scored a couple more in the first half, But they will still get chances at Anfield, 1-0 is not a bad scoreline to be taking there though especially if they can score early, So I still think Chelsea gained a slight advantage in last nights match... Dont get me wrong I still believe Liverpool can do it but am not as sure about it as I was before the match...55555555..

Btw what do you make of Jose's comments after that match about the penalty?

I think he lost a lot of credit for his team and himself, I wouldnt mind the handball was not even in the penalty box, Regardless of the fact of whether it was deliberate or not, I think the pressure is really starting to get to him and he is starting to lose the plot

I think Jose puts his foot in it every time he is interviewed Ally. He is an embarassment to Chelsea supporters with his silly comments. Some are valid, most aren't. Yes it was handball, but it was outside the area. He is a great coach, and Im glad he is coaching Chelsea, but his comments really don't help, and alienate any neutral supporter to Chelsea every time
