A great win by Stoner.........Vermuelen did well too, to take 3rd.
That should silence Stoners' critics for a while................The rider won that race, not the Ducati.

I agree Craig. He beat my hero fair and square and looks (in IJs words) the real deal 5555.
BTW, I was never a critic of Stoners, just put more emphasis on him having a better bike.

Agree with the last few posts, the young fella is going to be very hard to stop now...
It certainly doesn't look like Rossi can do anything about him winning the CS out and out... Between his lack of HP and shit tyres it would take a miracle for Rossi to stop Stoner.
I was glad to see Edwards getting back into the thick of things too.. He's a classy pilot...
PS... To Jonny.
No rain tonight in BKK either! Right I'm off to see whats going on up the street! No more posting Shite about Motorbike racing, lol!

How come the next MotoGP race at Netherlands is on a Saturday? Arent all the race on Sundays?
I hope the Pub i go to on Saturday will show MotoGP instead of only Wimbledon.

I can only tell you, that the Dutch race has always been held on the last Sat. in June.
Qatar also runs a Saturday race.

What brilliant riding from Rossi. Started 9th and passed Stoner 3 laps from the end. Stoner has no answer to Rossi today. A masterclass of MotoGP[ racing

Although a motorsport fan I havent followed enough GP to claim to know much about the sport..
But I watched Rossi cane through the filed and take stoner in this and WOW.. That boy can ride.. Nail biting stuff..
And right after the wallabies stuff the all blacks.. Good drinking sport today.

I just finished watchin the race..........I taped it cos I was out last night.
A brilliant win by The Doctor.....
Stoner did as good as he could, but Rossi was far superior.
Was good to see Hayden found some form too, after having setup problems in the earlier races....I expect to see him up the pointy end for the rest of the season.

Any predictions before the race fellas?
I like to be patriotic, so I'll stick with Stoner.
I see that there's only 1 sec difference from 1st to 16th on the grid.
It should be a good one.

Ah well, it turned out to be a fizzer of a race.
It was all about tyres, that's for sure.
Rossi's crash, looked to me like rider error.
Stoner extends his lead by 32 points.
Off to Laguna Seca next weekend.

Definate mistake by Rossi Craig. Tyres sure played a big part today. Surprised to see Capriossi got 2nd and the Honda comeback is good for the sport.
Stoner at least got points today, so he will be far happier than Rossi.

I managed to see the race on Sunday... Things have taken a new twist. Stoner didn't seem to be getting the same sort of speeds as previous races...
Rossi will be kicking himself for that spill he had... Wasted opportunity...
The next few races will be interesting....

Stoner didn't, but Capirossi did. Stoners tyres were shot. The Ducati and the Bridgestones are the perfect combination this season.
Rossi is fighting a losing battle with an underpowered Yamaha. He is taking chances, passing on corners only and wringing the guts out his bike to stay with the Ducati.
Even the Kawasaki and Suzuki have a better straight line speed than Rossi's bike.
It seems the Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki have all improved, but Yamaha have stayed still. What Rossi could do on a Ducati now I wonder? Its a shame for me to see him struggle when he is still the best rider there. But he has chosen to stay with Yamaha for next season too.
No, for me Stoner will take the title and Rossi will fight for 2nd.
As you say Pad', interesting few races ahead
