MotoGP
I just watched the Turkish GP from Istanbul... An exciting race. Rossi started on pole but finished in 10th after developing some sort of tyre problems during the race...
The star of the show was the young Aussie Casey Stoner... He won after starting in 4th place on the grid... He had a great race, Fair play to him.
Marco Milandri had a good race too. He crashed and came off early in the race but he got back on and eventually came in 5th (he started in 14th on the grid IIRC.)
Great race and it looks like another tight and exciting world championship... Looking forward to the Chinese GP next

I'm looking forward to the rest of this seasons MotoGP if the previous races are anything to go by.
Casey Stoner did well in Turkey, and will do on the tracks that suit the Ducati, long fast straights, but Rossi is the king, especially on twisty circuits, and even on an inferior bike, he has the class to win the title he should have won last year.

See he (Rossi) was well pissed off with yer man Elias...
Elias is a crazy pilot, very exciting to watch but dangerous none the less, purposely very late on the brakes comming into turns... See him almost falling off the flippin' bike when leaning over!
It could all end in tears.
Eurosport cover it well IMO... Have a gander at:

Twas a good result for Stoner & his team....................How f'in quick was his bike down that back straight?
Stoner thoroughly deserved the win..........He fought off Rossi.....as Rossi was trying his best to break him...ala...like he used to do to Gibernau.
Gotta give credit to Hopkins too, for being at the pointy end o the field & getting his first podium at moto gp level.
Rossi is still the best rider out there IMO.............There gonna be plenty of good tussles on the track this season without a doubt.

"Stoner again made maximum use of the Desmosedici GP07, reaching a top speed of 333.5 km/h - 7.8 km/h quicker than Rossi - on the track with the longest straight on the MotoGP calendar, and finishing the 22 lap race with a 3.036s lead"

Yeah, The Duke was like a rocket on the straights... Rossi still managed to pass him a few times in the twistys.
Out and out Horse power won that race... I am looking forward to seeing how stoner does on the slower tracks.

555555 On the twisty stuff, Rossi will eat Stoner. Like I said, the Ducati has the advantage on the tracks that suit the bike. Rossi is the undisputed best Moto GP rider ever as far as I am concerned, and will get more than his share of 1st places.

watching the GP we saw the on screen speedo of stoner at 347kph at one stage and i think rossi said ducati should have there own lane down the straight in china
i concur that rossi is an awesome rider in the twisties - but to see him brake so late on the straight in a panic to try and overtake stoner was a little un nerving
never seen him be like that before, after all he is "the doctor" but there was no surgical skill to running off the end of the straight

Everything changes in the Rain...
Vermulin wins! Stoner 3rd, Rossi 6th! That was meant to be Rossi's race! Stoner and his Duke had another great race.
The first 15 or so laps were brilliant!
