Well he has carried Liverpool for too long. A fluke first goal, but for all Liverpools possesion and good work, they hardly made a chance. The better side won tonight IMO.

PS: I can say hand on heart that Ac Milan were the better team in Istanbul and deserved to win that final, But for the life of me Dawsey I cannot understand how you can say that about this time, They were really poor but Liverpool didnt have the luck this around, Liverpool were no doubt the better side on the night, Congradulations to Ac Milan but the best team didnt win on this occasion, Same way they didnt win the last time!!

I'll be honest and say Benitez cost Liverpool the match with his selection from kickoff. Zenden shouldn't have started, Kuyt up front on his own??
Why leave it so late for super Crouch?
Anyway, its history, Liverpool still have the best record in Europe and they deserve that. This year wasn't to be.

I'll say no more on it.

Benitez picked the team that he thought would win, He got us to the final and I have no complaints about the team he picks, I have faith in his ability as a manager and am sure he will bring us more success in the future, It just was not our night!!
