I thought they got the conversion, was nearly in front...but you are right, 11-6 halftime. Fulltime 26-21 to the ABs, and well deserved too.

When an offside line isn't policed, any 1st five will struggle. Bok backs were up very quick. He missed a lot of goals, maybe is what they mean. I think he got about 4/8.

Rodney So'oialo should be fined in the team court. He's a number 8 for ****s sake, getting above his station and returning that kick like he did - shocking!!
To me that passage of play suddenly lit the AB's touchpaper. I also though Schalk Berger had an immense game and was MoM for me.

hahaha.....like the AB's always stay onside, is that what makes them great, their remarkable self policing? I thought it was reffed well and actually commented to someone how the Boks were a bit honest in their use of offside.
Carter was average last night, but they won and he probably won't be average next time. he certainly isn't above a bit of criticism surely?

Both sides were allowed offside, ref missed lots of knock ons, allowed the pill to be fiddled with while players off their feet, entering rucks and malls from anywhere, diving in off their feet, blah. Are you from the Northern Hemisphere by any chance?

Has anyone managed to play in South Africa yet without getting food poisoning?
Not sure about the All Blacks, missed it, but nearly every team in every sport seems to get knobbled before the game there.

Am I right in thinking that the Aussies regard drop kick goals as something of a cheap shot? You must be getting sick of them!

game of 2 halves....ABs poor and out of sorts in first half....dropping ball and throwing it away....sometimes even passing to Boks (for a try no less)....Boks looked like they had it covered until So'oialo made THAT run....fantastic inspiring rugby and the whole game turned on a dime with ABs scoring two rucks later then hammering it home with a good try to Rockothoco near the end.....
Henry is praising his own "conditioning" regime here with the wet sail finish.....but the AB's have always seemed to have a bit extra in the tank to me when they look like losing a tight one.....they've done this to many teams at test level and for decades

To win in South Africa is a big acheivememt. Boks are now going to send 2nd 15 to Aus and NZ for final Trinations game. Shame really, I like players like Bakkies Botha, get stuck in.

You are right,Jake has announced a B side to tour.Still a good side tho'.I guess he doesn't have much choice as he would be crucified if he doesn't field the absolute strongest team in the RWC and therefore needs to rest some players now. There's no way a guy like Schalk Burgher could keep up the same tempo thru'out the Tri-Nations and still perform at maximum during the WC........
