It will be a tough one Tommy, but Arsenal usually come out on top against Chelsea. I fancy Utd to sneak an away win against Liverpool, although I'd prefer a home win. 55555

With both eyes on the Liverpool match Fergie has made it clear that United shall field almost an entirely different team from Saturday with the midweek Champions League tie in Rome.
At 4/5, I may lump on Roma
By contrast, Liverpool need a cup final performance in Marseille to avoid early elimination....so I am hoping United shall be confronting a tired team at Anfield.
Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed his intention to field an almost entirely different team in Rome this week compared to the one used to defeat Derby 2-0 at Old Trafford.
With their place at the top of Group F already secure and Roma guaranteed to finish runners-up, the Manchester United boss sees no reason to risk his key men at the Stadio Olimpico, especially with a blockbuster confrontation with Liverpool looming at Anfield next weekend.
Midfielder Owen Hargreaves is virtually certain to be among those excused the flight to Italy after suffering a minor calf problem in the warm-up against Derby.
Ryan Giggs and Edwin van der Sar are almost sure to stay at home as well, with only Hargreaves' late replacement Michael Carrick and central midfield partner Anderson set to retain their starting spots.
China international Dong Fangzhou is among a number of youngsters likely to get a game, with Ferguson keen to take the opportunity to blood some of his fringe men, who have been denied first-team experience by United's unexpected Carling Cup exit at the hands of Coventry.
"It is a golden opportunity for us and we are not going to miss it," said Ferguson.

Arsenal staggering.
Meanwhile Chelsea continue to plug away like a good blue-collar team, not playing flashy football, just grinding out results, good workers' team that one.

Great win for Utd today. I just hope Chelsea can get something out of their match with Arsenal now.

Hope you had a bet on that forecast because the double paid 7/1
I loved watching United beat the red scousers today especially as I was in a pub full of em.
Now for the blue half of Liverpool next weekend at Old Trafford and with Everton playing some good stuff at the moment, that shall not be an easy match.

'Fraid not Tim. I couldn't place a bet against my own team could I??
Pretty good odds for that forecast, I wish I had now!

Excellent timing for the Christmas games..................................not!
It wouldn't surprise me to see Chris Coleman return from Spain where he isn't enjoying things.

No upsets in todays two games
Liverpool thrashed Pompey 4 - 1 and Arsenal held off Spurs 2 - 1
Spurs should have at least drawn that one with Keane missing a penalty, and also from 6yds!!. Whatever, Arsenal are top going into Christmas
Poor old Sunderland lose to another extra time goal at Reading 2 - 1

I expect Roy Keane had a bit to say about that, question marks over both the Reading goals, but Sunderland are firmly in the bottom 3 and if they don't start winning soon they will go down.
