It's rumoured Redknapp is interested in taking him to Portsmouth. I can't remember if he took him to Southampton when he managed there or whether he was there when Redknapp arrived.
Top 5??? Who is this mystery 5th club? 5555555

If they finish 5th I reckon that Crouch would be worthy of a regular 90 mins per game with them. I rate him better than Andy/Andrew Johnson. He's nothing like the player he was with Crystal Palace all those years ago. Sure it's not all about scoring goals (though that helps), but surely the strikers at Everton get better service than Johnson did with Crystal Palace when they were in the Prem.

Although Blackburn away has never been our favourite fixture.....
if we win against Blackburn though i think it now means that a win at Stamford bridge would give utd the title ......

Everton playing Chelsea on Thursday. Let's see if Everton can do any more favours to Man Utd.

In all fairness Utd deserve the title as they have been by far the more consistent team all season. As a non Utd fan i have to say their flair and style of football is a joy to watch.... Fergie for England !!!!

Crouch was signed by Paul Sturrock from memory, prior to the start of the 2004/2005 season so he preceeded the Harry the Turncoat by about 5 months or so.

I have his book, and he says they offered it to him once (before appointing Hoddle I think) but he turned it down.
I've always wondered why the FA don't chase Ferguson or Wenger when they need a manager, maybe they've both had too many moans in the past?

Wenger was going to to the FA as adviser but Arsenal snapped him up before FA got him.
Worried now though that he might go back to France as manager of National side.
Hate to say it but think Man Unt deserve title.
Think Gunners have done well with small squad and limited resources and have provided entertainment for fans.
There is all ways next year.

I think that without Wenger it will be a very, very, tough next year for Arsenal. As United fans, we would obviously be glad to see the back of him, but you can't help admire what he's done at Arsenal and I would have been happy to see him managing England too.

I'm not sure about the CL, but think you can safely start your celebrations for the Premiership now

Good result for Utd today. Whatever happens now, they can afford to lose against Chelsea next week with that goal difference.
I'm not giving up on Chelsea yet, but it looks too late now.
Remaining fixtures
Chelsea v Man Utd
Newcastle v Chelsea
Man Utd v West Ham
Chelsea v Bolton
Wigan v Man Utd.

Chelsea 2 Man Utd 1
A fantastic result for Chelsea today, and level on points for the first time with Utd. That goal difference is worth an extra point though, and Chelsea have a difficult trip to win at Newcastle next week. I'm just praying that West Ham can repeat last seasons effort and take something away from Utd.
