I agree Jonny. Everton have not bought anyone of note, and they have sold Beatty (not that he was any good anyway). I reckon bottom half of the table for them for sure
Reading have sold Sidwell to Chelsea, and will struggle this time around.I think they even surprised themselves last season by doing so well. But I rate Coppell as a manager, and they have a good owner/chairman in John Madjeski (sp?)

Well done Dawsey, I knew someone astute would pick up on the clues!
I wonder if that turncoat Redknapp will be in the same job this time next year?

CORRECT thats because i am a football fan and not a glory hunter thats why i also avoid celtic/rangers in scotland and follow kilmarnock i follow my local team when i lived in london i lived in east ham so the hammers were my local team 555555555
my top 5 MAN UNITED
CHELSEA (UNFORTUNATELY)
TOTENHAM
LIVERPOOL
ARSENAL
THE NEXT 5 IN WHATEVER ORDER will be WEST HAM /ASTON VILLA
PORTSMOUTH EVERTON BLACKBURN
I RECKON newcastle will struggle they are still weak defensively and apart from joey barton have no class in midfield
manchester city could finish in the top 10 a lot of crap being written in the anti sven media the reason he is buying foreign and not english is because by the time he got money from thaksin all the english players he would have been interested in were already gone also english players overpriced just look at kieron dyer undoubtably a good player but he is never off the treatment table.
west ham have big money still to spend a couple of players still to come in (left back and striker) i am a bit disapointed with some of their signings but the tevez saga obviuosly cost them valuable time in the market also the man is back DEAN ASHTON and surely they cant have the injuries to defenders that they suffeered last season but i will be happy with 8th or 9th place and then go for the couple of top quality players to make them top 5 next season
my bottom 3 derby /wigan and unfortunately sunderland

Jesus, have been waiting for this for ages and my hopes for Arsenal this season are great. Without injuries we will be fighting with Man Utd for the title, mark my words. But can we rely on Fabregas and Van Persie beeing without injuries?? Fabregas yes but I am crossing my finger for van Persie.
So now I am off to stock up with beer, chips and food for an all TV weekend with the best entertainment in the world (besides Thai girls):
PREMIERSHIP FOOTBALL
So Today I will be toasting and cheering for Sunderland, West Ham and Aston Villa!!
Good luck mates and enjoy!!

What a brilliant start to the Premiership!! A hardworking Sunderland won deservedly against an absolutely awful Tottenham side. If Tottenham continue to play like this they will be relegated 555555555
Yes, game was really boring with few chances but the fans were great, nonstop singing on the terraces throughout the game!! And 3 05 on overtime the fans went babananas!! Yiihaaah!!!

So City beat West Ham 2-0 and City impressed me. They did not play grat together as a team but they have some really quality palyers and when they do play well as a team then they IMO can beat just about any side in the Premiership. Will be interesting to watch them in coming games and they have a good chance to give United problems next weekend.
West Ham had most of the possesion but were quite useless in attack despite having a few chances.
So now Liverpool......

Lets hope Reading can steal a point or 3 555555555555
Anything but 3 home wins would be a big surprise, but I am not 100% sure that Arsenal will win. Will just have to wait and see!!

Talbotman
I DID POST yesterday not to ignore city sven looks like he has made some excellent signings but dont go overboard because they were playing a truly awful hammers side yesterday the hammers were without probably their best 3 players lucas neil, scott parker and the not yet fit dean ashton plus the injured new boy julian fauberge but it shown through that they need 4 signings 1) left back 2) another central midfielder 3) a wide player 4) another striker to play with ashton (i think bellamy is a terrible signing maybe ok for the bench) at the moment when you add up the money spent by the hammers and deduct the money brought in by selling hammers have spent only £1,000,000 so obviously they have plenty of money still to spend looks like a busy final 2 weeks in the market for curbishely.
great result for sunderland i have always had a soft spot for the two northeast giants its early days but watching yesterday i saw 2 things they have an excellent young centre half (nosworthy) and also have just bought the guy who is the 2nd best goalie in britain after peter cech they still have russell anderson to come back so wont lose many goals but will they score enough ?

Actually thought City looked really good (Cant wait to see them over the next few games, Hope they do well), Yes West Ham played shite but whats new...555555..
No seriously I think West Ham will get better when there players come back and they have one of the best strikers in the league with Ashton.. Not sure how Lucas Neill is one of there top 3 players, If he is then the Hammers are in trouble... I think Parker was a good signing and Noble was brilliant last year so think he deserves his chance in there beside Parker.. Bellemy never done it at Liverpool and probably wont do it at West Ham, I was happy you guys took him out of our hands
Jesus I thought West Ham spent a lot more than that, Its the same at Liverpool though, Liverpool spent £45Million but got back £23million so they only really spent £22million... Now compare that with Man Utd and they have spent £50million and only got less than £10million back but Liverpool are suppose to be the big spenders this year? FFS even Spurs have spent more than us again this year
