Whew. I bet Monty is sweating 555555555
About time Mickelson won a major. He has the talent, but it seems to evade him every time.

At 3:09 PM (U.S. pacific time). Tulsa 99F, 37% humidity = feels like 104F. Las Vegas 102F, 7% humidity = feels like 99F. Both places hot, but Tulsa is a bit more "sticky".
Dawsey, did you forget..."Lefty" won his first major last year in Augusta, Georgia?
The 2006 Masters.

cr@p first round for Tiger.....but still think he'll be there on Sunday
If he doesn't win he will go the whole year without a major.....who would have picked that after coming back from his father's death last year.....maybe the baby has kept him awake

Els threatened for a while.......but was a pretty sedate Tournament with Tiger strolling home reasonably comfortably.
Only 5 Majors behind Jack Nicklaus now........and 13 in front of Dodger.

Well Tiger is still young enough and I am pretty sure, he will end up with at least 20 majors under his belt would he retire from the game eventually.
He is just a great player.

Tiger woods is an absolute class act in a league of his own. His game is flawless perhaps for the odd wayward drive but who cares when you can hit a straight 2 or 3 iron 280 yards off the tee !
He will reign supreme for many a year to come, a pleasure to watch..

I personally think in Tiger Woods we are privilleged to be watching the greatest golfer that has ever lived.
There are many who have contributed to make the game what it is today, many who think Jack is the greatest but Tiger has beaten just about every one of his records at a younger age or earlier stage of his carreer and Tiger is doing it now, when arguably the competition is tougher, more players of a high standard than in Jack's era.
I feel sure he will beat 18 majors, he has at least 10 more competitive years left, which is 40 majors, on his record of winning once in every two competitions he tees up in, he should do it in the next 2 or 3 years.

agree totally with Dodge....
but wouldn't call his game flawless MWM....he manages to get himself in some aweful positions particularly off the tee..........but what he does have is an incredible command of recovery + approach shots.....breathtakingly good!!!....and he's not a bad putter either....55555

You speak to any of the pro's on tour and ask why Tiger is so much better than anyone else and they will reply, because he takes much less putts than anyone else and as you rightly said his scrambling is amazing !
Ok maybe flawless was not the right word to use as no sportsman is flawless but he's an extremely talented young man !
While we're on golf check out the scandinavian open that on right now (2nd days play this evening ch 65 or 66) there is a 16 year old called Finau playing in 3 ball with Simon Khan and Damon Haig. He's half the size of Damon Haig but drives the ball a fcuking mile, you gotta see it...unbelievable !!
