We won a football match.

Not only won but scored 5 goals, away from home.

Wales won in Slovakia 2-5 and I just thought that it as worth a mention.

We dont win many these days, but fair play maybe old Toshack has got the young boys going.

Well done to the Welsh boys. Pity that win won't get the side into the Euro finals though

Last night I was watching England-Russia with a group of 6 Russian customers in Delft (Holland). The evening started in a nice mood, but their faces changed expression quickly. A few rounds of wodka improved their feeling a little.

The Russians were complaining about their goalie and their bad defending and of course the disallowed Russian goal, which was in no way a handball. Maybe the ref thought that Eriksson was still the English head coach.

Also well done to Scotland beating France in Paris. And as for us... Don't want to talk about its, so bad we played. But at least we won 0-1. Just like the Germans always do. Play bad and score the winning goals just before the end of the game.
