I like that US sports are spreading world wide. I wonder if -the Celtics for example- have less of a training camp because of the distraction of being in a different place. Probably not a big issue for the current team of veterans, but a younger team might not fare as well when the season starts.
Go Pats!
Go Red Sox!
Go C's!
Bruins??

Marc,
Nit-picking here:
I think you mean "Ducks" not "Angels". The Angels play baseball, the Ducks scoot around on the ice....

Rumors are that one group from China and another from Dubai are trying to buy Man Utd. For approx. 1 billion pounds sterling.

Never was a regular boxing fan, but I like UFC. The matches generally don't last long(only 3 rounds tops) and much more action.

The UFC is fantastic viewing i never miss it, it makes Pride and K1 look tame...
Everyone rated Murko Kro Cop as the best in his weight class, that was until he was introduced to the UFC cage and he got his @ss well and truly kicked.
On the flip side Chuck Liddell got his @ss kicked by UFC newcomer Rampage Jackson....
Always entertaining/brutal and never a clear cut winner...... love it !!!

Yeah the UFC event was at Manchester MEN Arena (So not London as such) but i like it over boxing.
You can still get very dull fights but no fight is a foregone conclusion - hence very few undefeated fighters.

Great that you can catch one of the now several mixed martial arts(MMA) circuits on tv just about any night of the week here in the states. There is probably about 5 or more shows showcasing MMA.

WEC (World Extreme Cagefighting) is also a decent MMA circuit. I think it is the minor leagues of UFC. Some good fighters and entertaining fights.
