New Welsh Rugby Coach

The new coach has been unveiled today.

At least they got the colour right.

Ok now to the serious part.

The WRU have gone for Nigel Davies as caretaker coach along with Rowland Phillips, Neil Jenkins & Robin McBride for the upcoming test match against the Sringboks in November.

Not the best of options

These were the team that Gareth Jenkins insisted on bringing with him as his assistants 18 months ago which personally I think was his first mistake, these are all inexperienced coaches who have not yet proved themselves at club level.

Jenkins is a good rugby coach as he has proved with LLanelli but he should have brought in some experianced heads who have been on the international stage before and the WRU are at blame for letting him do it.

They should have sacked the lot last week not just Jenkins and approached a couple of the Regional coaches to look after the team for Boks game with the knowledge that they are just gaining experience for the future and not in line for the job.

Its time to go overseas for our new head coach and also find a few more technical coaches for different positions when the rest of our Regional coaches gain a bit more experience.

Sorry Taffs, but I got this text last night.

Osama Bin Laden has just sent a new TV message to prove he is still alive.
He said "The Welsh Rugby team were sh1t last Saturday"

British intelligence have dismissed it saying " It could have been recorded anytime in the last 2 years"

Fair play Good Joke 55555 I like it and agree.

But!!!!

I wouldn't say it could have been recorded anytime in the last 2 years,

For example

Would you say it could have been recorded in the week after March 17th 2007????

Yes on second thoughts it possibly it could have we wouldn't have had to play that well to beat England would we.

I think that all National teams would do well by having coaches from outside the country who are prepared to stand up to their National Rugby Boards......
