4th Horse in the 4.00pm race is a quirky bet that sometimes works for me but i guess at this time of year there wont be one..

some of them scouse birds actually scrub up quite well !! although it is funny to see them all crying because their shoes are killing them at the end of the day .............

A Fun Day
Good for you dan boy
I have been to Aintree a few times on this day and what a great laugh it is, regardless of the weather those scouse birds really go for it You have never seen anything like it and talk about mutton dressed as lamb They make the ladyboys on Bangla Rd look like a Salvation Army function
I'm told to back KenzoIII in the Topham Chase over those Grand National fences at 3.45. The amateur jock on board has a great name and one I would be proud of.....Charlie Stud

Aintree - Ladies Day : Diz's Disasters ??
I have put down 2 or 3 for each race and listed them in order of preference (1 is my first choice etc)...
2:00
ALBERTAS RUN and ROLL ALONG should both give a good account for themselves, going up against each in a re-run of the Royal & Sun Alliance. With ROLL ALONG getting 4lbs this time, it might just be enough.
1. ROLL ALONG
2. ALBERTAS RUN
2:35
Ruby Walsh is riding THE TOTHER ONE this time instead of usual jockey Sam Thomas and that might just be enough to make a difference. Paul Nicholl's mount finished 3rd to NENUPHAR COLLONGES at Cheltenham last time out and with Ruby steering this time, this should be a great rematch. TAZBAR should provide the interest for the locals.
1. THE TOTHER ONE
2. NENUPHAR COLLONGES
3. TAZBAR
3.10
MASTER MINDED should be there at the finish and should be pushed all the way by MONET’S GARDEN, who gets the nod as a previous course and distance winner.
1. MONET’S GARDEN
2. MASTER MINDED
3:45
This race tends to be won by a horse down the bottom of the weights and at a big price. The last 5 years have seen winnings SPs of 25/1, 16/1, 50/1, 33/1 and 12/1 carrying weights of 10-0, 10-4, 10-5, 10-0 and 10-2. That means we should really be looking for a big priced horse at the bottom of the card. AZULEJO seems to fit the bill nicely, so too does LANKAWI. Of the fancied horses carrying the heavier weights, KENZO III GWANAKO appear to have the best chance.
1. AZULEJO each way
2. LANKAWI each way
3. KENZO lll
4:20
CAPTAIN CEE BEE will be the one to beat here and not much of a price. It would have been nice to have seen FRANCHOEK run but it is not to be. BLUE BAJAN will appreciate the going a bit more than at Cheltenham, but if you're looking for a real Ladies Day bet, then an each way punt on SALFORD CITY is probably the best you will find. Nina Carberry is booked to ride this horse. She is the only lady rider of the race and she is no fool in the saddle.
1. SALFORD CITY (each way)
2. CAPTAIN CEE BEE
3. BLUE BAJAN
4:55
CELESTIAL GOLD is a favourite of mine and won on the only occasion he’s raced here before. ALDERBURN takes my eye, especially as AP McCoy has been booked to ride.
1. ALDERBURN
2. CELESTIAL GOLD
5:30
I don’t bet on National Hunt Flat races as they tend to throw up all sorts of surprises. I very much doubt that this will be the “Lucky Last” for the vast majority of punters, but from the horses listed, I think these stand a good chance.
1. DAIYA
2. MAISY DAISY
3. YONDER
Hopefully there's a winner or two in amongst that lot.
I hope you have a good day

Ladies Day predictions - update
I have just checked my selections again and made a blooper with AZULEJO in the 3:45. After having run in the Gold Cup I thought he had finished 6 lengths 2nd in his next race, but it was in fact 62 lengths !! So scratch him off the list unless you really feel lucky and fancy backing a 200/1 shot !! 55555 !!
After a rethink, my selections for this race are...
1. LANKWAI each way
2. THEATRE KNIGHT each way
3. KENZO III

A couple came second but you're right, it was bad. Good job I backed Tidal Bay just now First Cheltenham winner to win at this Aintree meeting so far I think.

Hope my fellow punters from the UK look after me next few months with some good tips.......We get Royal Ascot live coverage to Oz these days which is great.
Pentire looked after me with Cockney Rebel last year in the Guineas......40/1.....still owe you those drinks Tim.

I was all ready to back simon in the national but could not get online to do it, just as well, only lasted 4 fences.
I did back a horse at 20 to 1 the other day, came in at half 4
