best footballer in the world

a couple of years ago had I written that I think it is between Ronaldo and Ronaldhino we would have been thinking two Brazilians.....but despite disliking the "new" Ronaldo (Christiano) I have to say that if I were able to select just ONE player in the world for my team he would be it....

who would you guys pick??

Maldini.....WTF ! IJ.....he is so old he would be welcome in Kamala.

Ranoldo 4 me.....Ronaldhino's form has reported to have been very patchy this year.....Messi is #2 for me, although l have not seen a huge amount of him.

Messi and Ronaldo gotta be the hottest players around at the moment...

Although i reckon Shebby Singh would have given the above 2 a run for their money in his day !!!!!

he did score some goals at the world cup, but until he got off the mark he looked very ordinary to me. I haven't seen him at all since, but that's my memory of him - though at least he did look like he was built like a traditional centre forward

Unfortunately I'm with the masses. The Premier League is the only football I get to watch regularly & that pr1ck Ronaldo seems just about unplayable there. I'd like to see him try his tricks against Stuart Pearce or Mark Lawrenson in their prime - under the old rules too of course

on current form you can't look past ronaldo....although a sign of a truly great player is to perform in the biggest matches....
so will be looking for him to do the business in the semi's ( if utd get through) against Barca , and in the Euro's for Portugal.

I wasn't even online at that time!!! Wow, maybe sleep typing!

If its all time, than there is only one man that could handle that responsibility!

JAN MOLBY!!

He was soo good, he never had to leave the centre circle! Except to take and score pens that is.
