I suppose an Ashes decider between his two favourite Teams is the perfect time to bow out.
If he makes it to famous wax muesum in london they could just drop him there.
seriously he has had a great career as a cricketer and commentor for many years and will be missed.
Hope he does some guest apperances

I slightly mislead you guys with my opening thread as Mr Benaud shall be carrying on with his Channel 9 work in Australia.
It is only from British TV screens that his dulcet tones shall be lost due to a change of broadcaster from Channel 9 to Sky.
I guess he has no interest in working for Rupert Murdoch ! At his age who could blame him.
