Bloody Hell! Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland just scored their first goal against England in Belfast for a gazillion years, and to be fair it was well earned.

When you look at the English team and the amount of money they have attracted in transfer fees (Gerrard, Lampard, Beckham, Wright-Phillips, Rooney, Ferdinand etc. etc.) it beggars belief that they could be staring up the backside of the mighty Poland, and yet it was always so.

They bottled it in Euro 2004, and they were just clueless so far this week. Truly shite. They were appalling against Wales, out of ideas tonight and out of the world cup if they are not careful. Normal service resumed?

10 minutes to go, maybe things will change!

Sorry for gloating ,but it's not often we get the chance.
I bet if the result was the other way round it would be impossible to get a word in for all the English celebrations.

Sorry for my ignorance and lack of any real interest in football (check Diz's comp), but can England still qualify?

Neither have I, but I do watch the international matches if I can.
I tend to root for the underdogs, so this was just brilliant IMO

It may not give me any points in the soccer competition I went for a 1-1 but I enjoyed the result in Belfast today 3-2 to Wales.

I went for 2-2 so Giggsy blew it for me. I also picked Scotland to win 2-0 and look what happened there?
