Question Thai translator program??

Is there a decent English-Thai translater program available (online or otherwise)?? I found several that are suppose to translate web pages but nothing to just translate text you type (like Bable Fish, etc).

Thanks, RMJ

You could try this site:

http://www.thai2me.com/

I've never used it so can't reccommend, but maybe they have what you are looking for.

Thanks Steve and holger. I signed up for the seven day free trial. It sort of works but as holger suggested it makes a mess out of a sentence. I sent:

Looking forward to my first trip to Phuket on April 15! Ready for a few beers on Bangla Road! The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain.

The Thai translation that I obviously can not read:

ตั้งตารอคอยของดิฉันก่อนการเดินทางภูเก็ตเมษายน ปี ค.ศ. 15 ! พร้อมแล้วสำหรับสามสี่เบียร์บนถนนbangla!
ฝนจะตกในประเทศสเปนตกหลักสำคัญบนที่ราบ

When translated back to English it gave this:

lookforwardto my before travelling phuket april year.. ค. ศ. 1 5 . !. ready already for the few beer on avenue bangla!.. rain in spain fall main on plain.

It is about as bad as the Spanish translators I use when in Central America.
It probably would work a little better if you learn to pick your words very carefully.

For now I am just getting a few words and sentences from: http://www.thai-language.com/dict/

thanks, RMJ

Ive got the Linguaphone Thai Quick language course. It contains 4 audio Cds and a book. Cost about £30.00 Pounds.Very good value for money.
Its not a full language course but I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn a bit of thai.

The full course is also available.
