multiple entry - non-immigrant b visa

just been to KL and got multiple entry (first one pre-work permit was single only)

before i went got conflicting info from friends as whether best to go to penang, kl or elsewhere for multiple

indeed friend and his partner had same business, same documents and work history etc - the went at same time - one got single and other got multiple????

whilst there saw 5 russians trying to get multiple b visas - all they had was their passports and cash - when told could not - asked for a tourist one instead

whilst no idea where they were intending setting up shop (did not look like backpackers) am generally wary of the apparent increase in russians in phuket

anyone else noticed or even concerned the affect this may have?

They have a heavy presence in Pattaya. Only a matter of time before you see a lot more down here....more money here. There are already direct charter flights from Russia to Phuket.

Some were looking to buy one of the Kepsap massage shops so probably won't be long before you can choose Thai/Russian for your oiling.

know only too well their presence in patts - my own impression of the difference is that whilst there non-thai organised crime is obviously much greater but think (correct me if i am wrong) the mib in phuket have so far not allowed anyone to gain control beyond themselves?????? keeping a lid on it and taking tea money or allowing it to explode beyond control in order to get more tea money??

once they gaion a foothold here all bets will be off
