KL Visa pick up
Going to KL to re-new business visa and want to book flights accordingly.
Would i have enough time to pick up the visa the following day after application and still make a flight at 15.40pm. I read on the Thai Embassy KL web page that pick up is in afternoon from 2pm. I'm guessing if i get there at 13.30pm in front of the queue it shouldn't take long to get passport/visa...
Also looking at staying at Crown Princess hotel which seems to be close to CBD, Embassies nightlife etc and at a reasonable cost...
Any info appreciated

Unless they've changed the routine in the last month, pickup is at 11.30 and they often start handing the passports out by 11 anyway. It's a quick affair in any case, no processing, just queue up to get yours. I've used the afternoon Air Asia flight tons of times and only once did I get there with only 30 mins to spare (and had to beg to check in) and that was my fault for lingering over lunch and missing the airport bus I was aiming for. If you go straight from the embassy you have loads of time.

If memory serves me correct and many braincells have been destroyed since so thinking you had to be there around 1 - 2pm to hand them in and you can pick up around 9:30am the next day.
That was a while ago so not sure if it's changed since......
Maybe PM Nicke as he goes there for his visa runs each time and also where he gets his visa from.

In KL you apply in the morning, during 8.30-10.30 or close to that, and next day can pick it up during 10.30-11.30. Its a good idea to queue up around 08.00 before too many people arrived.

I usually get there about quarter to nine for hand off and that's been enough, I might not be first in queue but get out in a reasonable time. I think the consulate doors don't open till 9:00 or 9:30 but they'll let you in to fill the forms and wait outside before that.
